On Wednesday March 23rd 2011, elections for a new Board of Directors took place and on Thursday April 1st 2011, the new Board of Directors was formed as follows:

· Efi Tritopoulou, Chemical Eng., 1st Vice President
· Vicky Tsoukala, Civil Eng., 2nd Vice President
· Anta Anastasopoulou, Architect Eng., Treasurer
· Nota Katsakiori, Mechanical Eng., Responsible for International Affairs
· Thiresia Simantiraki, Civil Eng., Assistant General Secretary
· Nadia Moraiti, Architect Eng., Member
· Dimitra Kollia, Electrical Eng., Member
· Dafni Sideri, Metallurgist Eng., Member
· Eleni Psarrou, Architect Eng., Member
Dring the first meeting the EDEM's Board took unanimously the decision to entitle Danny Antanassioti, EDEM's President of Honour. Danny was the one who had the idea of funding EDEM and led the Association on its first difficult steps until its recognition by the community of engineers in Greece. Danny served EDEM as President or Vice President a lot of years with personnal devotion and the Board kindly invite her to continue to offer with her experience and innovative ideas.
